Rev. Elaine Radloff
I am devoted to my wedding ministry, and I do not tend to a congregation or
church building or religious organization. I am an ordained minister, authorized to solemnize marriages in all
counties of the state of Michigan, Ohio and most other states. Although
I live in southeastern Michigan,
I am
willing to travel almost anywhere to your wedding location, with travel
expenses reimbursed. Some states require the filing of celebrant
papers, and I can take care of that.
My ministry is
nonsectarian and I do not ask for a religious or counseling commitment
from the marrying couple.
"Hi
Elaine, I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how comfortable
both Swapna and I were with the meeting on Sunday, and how excited we are
for you to perform our ceremony. Thanks for all of the great
suggestions and for putting us at complete ease." ~Brent~

Your wedding ceremony is a
personal and distinctive statement shared with family and friends.
It is an intimate ritual and public declaration that celebrates your love
and commitment while marking the formal beginning of your new life together.
Your wedding ceremony is a powerful and purposeful milestone in your
lives, laying a foundation for your partnership and your future.
I believe that your wedding ceremony is an investment that creates a long
lasting and beautiful foundation for the future.
My
approach to the creation and delivery of nuptials is an all-encompassing,
universal one that is limitless in the choices of styles for bonding a
couple in marriage. I
consider myself as a kind of tailor of wedding ceremonies. I work with
each couple to choose the words and rituals that matter to them and I
stitch them into something beautiful and uniquely theirs.
Each ceremony I design takes into account the
wishes of the couple, reflects the bride's and groom's personalities and
their uniqueness as a couple. I incorporate the exact amount of
spiritualism that the couple considers appropriate.
Where interfaith ceremonies are concerned, I create ceremonies honoring
each tradition's uniqueness and integrity, and find ways for the
differences to be complementary.
In building your ceremony,
I will reflect your sentiments while respecting your spirituality and values.
I will skillfully design your custom wedding ceremony, and then deliver
it in a loving presentation that will become a cherished remembrance for both
you and your guests. I put a lot of
time, thought and energy into each ceremony I write and I work to ensure that
the spoken words reflect the love, friendship and commitment being celebrated on
your special day. Your wedding can
include all of the aspects of celebration that are meaningful to you.
This may include honoring children, family members and friends in your
ceremony. If you like, you can work
with me to incorporate intimate and memorable rituals into your ceremony.
My education includes a Master's degree in Communication Arts: Speech and
Theatre, and my
experience includes over twenty years spent in both the academic and the
corporate worlds as a teacher/trainer and writer. I spent the last
ten years of my corporate career in the health care industry as a software analyst, writer and trainer.
Since 2001 I have devoted myself full-time to writing and performing wedding
ceremonies.
Working for you as your
wedding officiant, I offer more value for your money.
Your wedding ceremony will be custom designed and written just for you.
Using my background in theatre and public speaking, I will work with you
to choreograph the ceremony and will coordinate with others (musicians, site
coordinator and event planner) to make sure everything flows perfectly.
After your consultation, I will provide you with a full draft of your
wedding ceremony script for your review and approval.
You also have unlimited email and phone access to me before your big day.
The bottom line for you is peace of mind on one of the most important
days of your life.
